Does the taste and flavour of any healthy oil bother you while you are constantly bombarded by the information that it is the healthiest oil which can bring down the cholesterol levels and help in shedding those extra pounds?

Everyone these days is talking about olive oil, Rice Bran, Canola oils and its benefits. It has become a kind of status symbol to use healthy oil including olive, rice bran, and canola in daily cooking as we have acknowledge time to time from various sources either from friends or media. But I had always a doubt related to taste and flavor.

While both olive oil and rice bran oil provide ample health benefits, rice bran oil has historically been leading the edible oil industry in India due to its lower cost and availability. According to Akshay Modi- Director of a top rice bran brand (Modi Natural Ltd.) the “Availability of rice bran is much smoother as India is one of the leading rice producers. Olive oil is mostly used in salads and soft cooking whereas rice bran is used in frying and cooking Indian dishes but oleeve active is unique blend of olive oil and Rice bran in order to cater to demand of modern lifestyle of Indian kitchens.”

For Unknown reason, when the world is turning and increasing awareness towards olive oil, no one is making awareness in India that which variety is suitable for Indian cooking. Since Indian kitchen is much diversified as statewise, each state has different cuisine; we need a right product that suits Indian kitchen. Most of Indian doesn’t know which oil is suitable for their daily need, either to use extra-virgin olive oil because it is the best. Yes, it is true that extra-virgin oil has the best flavour but it is also equally true that it is not the right oil for Indian cooking.

Although people know that olive oil is available in three variants: extra-virgin olive oil, pure olive oil and Pomace olive oil. Since extra-virgin olive is advertised most we experiment with it in our cooking only to vow never to use it again. But Oleeve- Active is perfect for All Indian Kitchen. We have done an experiment with couple of dishes, such Paneer Tikka, Soya Chaap and Biryani. All items were cooked with perfection with no compromise with taste and flavor.

One interesting fact about olive oil is that it is the only oil that is extracted from a fresh fruit unlike other oils which are extracted either from nuts or seeds.

Akshay Modi added, “Absorption of oil is up to 20% less with Oleev Active, it reduces calories, thus making the food lighter, healthier and tastier” “An extremely High Smoke Point makes Oleev Active excellent for frying and deep frying. It prevents fatty acid breakdown at high temperatures, thus making food healthier.” He further adds.

I have personally compared with other oil and Oleeve Active. It might seem expensive at first glance but, if one calculates its efficiency and results, it is surely affordable than other oils. Food can be cooked in this oil in one-third (approx) the quantity of other oils. Since it has a high smoking point it can also be reused three to four times as long as it is filtered carefully after each use through gauze, muslin or a suitable paper filter. Considering these two-three points roughly on my scale, the effective cost of oleeve active oil is one-sixth of its actual price. I actually tried with few dishes personally it doesn’t leave any smell or aroma hence I personally recommended everyone to use in the Indian Kitchen.
