Kama-Radisson Blu, Kaushambi
On previous Tuesday, I have joined the Radisson Blu, Kaushambi for a Lucknowi Food Fest at their one of the luxury restaurant Kama.
Kama-is all day dining,multi-cuisine restaurant and known for its exemplary food and hospitality. This restaurant features different cuisine themed food festivals from time to time to familiarize and delight the customers with variety of flavours. Located at Ground floor, exactly opposite from Main entrance.
On our arrival, Kama, is already set entice enthrall to its guest’s taste bud with their aromatic lucknowi Food comprising with wide range of delectable Starters, main courses and mouth-watering Desserts which will elevate you with their aroma and sense of taste. The restaurant looks beautiful with live Music and Lucknowi decorated specially for the fest. Less lighting makes the atmosphere beautiful. All the service staffs were dressed up in Kurta Pyajma, Private dining space were designed in the shape of peacock, which is part of Lucknowi Theme.
Lucknowi also known as Awadhi Cuisine that involves dum of cooking and slow fire cooking or chullah cooking, and it’s very famous for its ingredients as well.
We have exchanged our Greeting with Executive chef, Managers and Staff. We picked the Ala-carte menu from table which is beautifully packed with ribbon.
A very extensive A-la-Carte menu features special delicacies of Awadh. There is a wide range to pick from , so savour, to name a few, We started with Bel ka Sharbat and Few Awadhi Starters such as the Badshahi Paneer Tikka (Stuffed Cottage cheese ) Kathal Ke Kebab (Jackfruit and Chana dal minced patty mixed with Indian spices shallow fried), Banno Kebab (Deliciously chicken kebab with bone cooked in clay oven) Mutton Ke Gilavat Kebab (Popularly known as Galouti and conjured with aromatic and digestive spices, Especially created for the Nawab of Lucknow – a mouth melting Lamb kabab) followed by couple of soups Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba and Immabara ke Murgh Shorba. Chef himself served us Soup shows his art of pouring and presentation as well.
It includes Mutton Taar Korma (Mutton chunks cooked in mutton bonmerrow juice, Indian spices,& saffron), Kareli Gosht Ki Nihari (Mutton Nalli & Boti simmered with authentic Potli masala), Mahi Dum Baradari, Paneer Khushrang (Cottage cheese cooked in brown gravy), Kathal Mughai Masala, Daal – E Keema, Lab E Lazeez (From the Kitchens of Hakeem safdar Nawab: Fresh button mushrooms and garden peas simmered in saffron rich korma gravy), Murgh Wajidali Biryani , Subz Chilgoza Biryani (The Vegetarian version of the Biryani – cooked on dum) with Assorted Awadhi Breads ( Sheermal, Khamiri, Afgani).
From the desserts menu try out the Khajoor Mango Sheer Brang (A rich Mango, rice pudding with the goodness of Balai, pistachio, Khajoor & khoya) and Amina Bagh Ki Kulfi Falooda (Iced flavored milk dessert formed served with Falooda).
Presentation Part was top notch; each and every item was beautifully decorated served, it was higly impressing. At the End, Restaurant has marked our feedback on electronic device. Chef personally marked our feedback.
The staff of the restaurant is very courteous and attentive and they have extensive knowledge of food what they were serving during the fest.
