Hira Lal chaat Corner it was established by Rati Ram, the Grandfather of current owner, Mr Ram Babu Kushwaha, Mr. Rati Ram Kushwaha migrated from a small town of Himalaya Najibabad to Delhi to check his fortune. The Former Farmer started his second inning in walled city by selling fruits in the bylane of Chawri Bazar. With His hardwork he managed to get a small shop in the Chawri Bazaar, Hira Lal is actually his Son, now today Mr Ram Babu Kushwaha is working with his two brothers and carrying the legacy ahead in the walled city.

Shop is famous for Kulley wali Chaat, The timings here are 11 AM to 9 PM.

IMG_20160404_142609_HDR“It was a hot summer day, I was playing with boiled potato and hollowed it, and filled with it lemon juices, and chaat spices”, he says. “It tasted nice, and started selling with his given name after the “Kullad”. Our customer appreciated our experimental job, since then I have been experimenting and selling it with a filling of boiled chickpeas, pomegranate pearls, onion tomatoes etc.” he further adds.

Ram Babu Kushwaha cant tell exactly when his grandfather started that shop,

This small outlet is also serves Golgappas, Tikki and Pav Bhaji, but still major attraction its Chaat and especially Kulley Wali Chaat.
Kulley wali chat: Major ingredients is Aloo, but he can substitute with potato with melon, cucumber, mango, apple and Banana as well , he will pick and base item and scoop out its flesh part with help of knife smoothly fills with custom stuffing with lemon juice and some chaat masala, by default he would pick, chickpeas and Pomegranate pearls.
