Dishoom cafe sits amid the many new eateries that have opened shop recently in foodie hub of South campus. Dishoom café is brainchild of 30 year old Youngster Amit Gupta and merely a 50 days old café in the satyaniketan. Dishoom is completely an industry-themed cafe with rough raw interiors. Everything from wall to furniture over here will leave an impression of a garage. But, when it comes to food, they serve some mouth-watering platter including Italian and Continental cuisines. Do not miss baked Nachos. They also serve sheesha and organize live sports screening. Dishoom café is quite popular among the youngster especially campus students.
We have started with its signature Starter i.e.
Baked Nacho: Nachos have always been the quintessential food in the campus; I really enjoyed the taste of fully loaded nachos layered with cheese. Portion size is also an added advantage.
Chili Chicken: Boneless chili chickens now become staple in every restaurant and café, but it was bit different from others.
Drums of Heaven: it was starter of the day – Highly recommended for everyone Lip smacking deep fried chicken wings dipped in Schezwan sauce.
Veg Salt and Pepper: Amazing Vegetable consists of potato wedges, broccoli and other vegetables mixed in schezwan sauce.
Phantom Cottage Cheese: Presentation to taste: everything was perfect. That item won the heart the heart of everyone. A crispy golden color cottage cheese finger is ready to melt in your mouth from its first bite. Highly recommended for Vegetarian.
Makhmali Chicken Satay: It was great party appetizer, Tendered Juicy chicken overdone and sprinkled with pomegranate pearls. Highly recommended for Non-Vegetarian.
Butter chicken served with Malabar Parantha: it is signature platter dishes of dishoom, served with Malabar parantha. A perfect Balanced i.e. mild spicy gravy of butter Chicken Masala.
Passion Fruit: Seriously it didn’t impresss me, but I happy to report that quantity, quality and presentation was good.
Kit Kat Shakes: its presentation was amazing, it is highly recommended shakes for everyone.
Cons: They don’t serve Alcohol.
Launched barely a 50 days ago, Dishoom serves the regular fare of pizzas, pastas, wraps and rolls at economical prices, but I will suggest for dishes such as Baked Nacho, Kitkat Shakes, Butter Chicken with Malabar Parantha.
